Day in the Life.
Video the students made about the "Day in the Life" of a character or object. This one deal with the day in the life of a dollar bill.
Manipulation
For this project the students had to manipulate the frame to make you believe they were doing a series of push-ups. Unfortunately, the difference between the floor and the wall presented a problem for them. Oh well! Nice try!
The second video the students had to learn to use a blue-screen wall. So, they used a pie plate as a flying saucer and put in a different background. Now you know how all of those UFO sightings are made. :) More to come!

2008 NESCom Trip
I think this field trip may be cursed because the weather is always bad when we go. This year though it cleared up enough to make the trip. The students had a great time touring the New England School of Communications in Bangor. They got to see the TV Studio Control room, the TV Studio, Mobile TV Unit, Recording Studios, and Radio Station. NESCom offers students a variety of Communications degrees in TV Production, Radio Broadcasting, Audio Engineering, Digital Media, Web Communication, and Journalism. It was a good exposure to what the school has to offer potential students and how they can help them enter the Communications field.
